Based on some constructive feedback from @sailor about my Strap choice - I’ve taken some more photos with a new black strap. Hi All I've decided to sell my Breitling Top Time 2000 Reverse Panda from circa 1964. I don't think of this Watch as being a Panda, Reverse, Fowards Facing or otherwise to me it has the look of an Owl! I seem to get more compliments about this Watch than any other when I wear it, above all else this is a strikingly beautiful watch. On a Sunny Day it just "Pops", but at night wow, it looks so very cool and sophisticated. So let’s call it “The Night Owl”. The ultimate Dress Chronograph. I bought this after having it verified and approved by WatchFred on the Breitling Forum- so I think it's a good one. Service History cannot be verified though- but all seems to run and reset nicely. But I would bank on it needing a service in the near future. Top Times were worn in Bond Films and by the legendary Sid James in Carry on Films too! If you have any questions please feel free to let me know- I'll try my best to answer. I’ve a few references here on OF, so please feel free to check. I do like to think that I'm a stand up guy with integrity, who does the right thing by friends and associates. A wrist shot or two in the wild! Price Wise- £1500 Net to me. UK postage will be free. I'm happy to ship elsewhere at the buyers expense and method of choosing. I'm based in the U.K. South Oxfordshire. I attend Time4aPint and I do travel a bit, so personal collection or delivery in the UK may be a possibility.
A few nibbles - taking to T4AP tonight if anyone is interested. The watch looks awesome in the metal- much nicer than the SS version IMHO.
It’s still available, I had a couple more bites but nothing firm yet, let’s give it a couple of weeks and then i’ll take it as a sign that the “Night Owl” and I are meant that be together. Bobby Paris - The Night Owl
Price Bump - £1500 worth pointing out that some of the pictures show different shades of black/grey on the dial - this is just shadow. Probably my big old head!
