This is not the first time I have found a vintage Gay Freres bracelet with one end piece. In fact it’s the third and the first two found their partner with a lot of luck and goodwill from fellow collectors. Now I am on the hunt again for another elusive vintage UG. The bracelet in question is dated 2/68 with one 19mm UP end. The target watch is a white dial Compax valjoux 72 aka Nina Rindt.

Aside from expressing my frustration I would be interested to know if someone found the other UP end piece (fat chance) or someone has a pair of 19mm curved ends that would be suitable. If so do get in touch.

    Regards

    Paul

Sometimes I find endlinks cost more than the bracelets themselves. I recently scored some 19mm Rolex jubilee endlinks used on the Daytona for a song and I greedily look at them resting in my watch box. Gonna use them on my 5500 when the jubilee arrives.

Great watch! This one is on my opportunistic hit list - with or without a bracelet. :D
