It’s a stupidly rare piece!! Even pictures of it are scarce... there are -1 known examples (and they all look to be powered by a 321, indeed)

I guess it’s a riddle!!

Looks like a 321... 0! His dad forgot his birthday and gave him nothing

(sorry OP. I guess I could make jokes all night but I promise I’m going to stop now)😁😁😁😁

scroll down and look for the “add photos” button

I hope by now you realize that the gang here likes to playfully pounce on newbies with sarcasm and jeering. I assure you it is done with lightheartedness and genuine intentions. The photo upload was something I had to learn as well.

I do hope you'll enlighten us with some photos of this piece so we can all jealously lob more snarky remarks at you, but this time in a congratulatory spirit!

Welcome to the family

WOW! Possibly a 321. However, I am no expert so I am sure others can enlighten us to how amazingly unique this is... I would certainly send it to Omega for a full service and make sure to take out adequate insurance in case something happens to it.

Nice one. Repainted dial. Wear as is, that is a heirloom. So .... service will be good. Rest is up to you. Kind regards. Achim

Curious to hear the experts opinions!

My first thought is: Redial

Nice looking. I'm not experienced enough to say it's a redial, but at this point would it really matter? It's got a venerable movement and represents the sentiment of your father. Seems like a winner to me!

I think the redial is rather obvious, but as this is not a safe queen and has been loved and used a redial was probably needed at some stage in its life.

I'd be happy to receive something like that.

These are the others I found in his stuff. Guess I have an education coming.

I am not sure if your dad has recently passed, but if so please accept my condolences. This is a collection of nice watches that have been worn and loved. Some of these could be a very nice memento of your Dad that you can wear. You brought these watches to a group of collectors, without asking specific questions. So collectors are going to do what collectors do: carefully inspect each watch and look for flaws.

Hard to be sure from the photo, but the Seamaster likely has a repainted dial. It is from the 60s and is a nice little dress watch. It is worth investigating further. If you like it, it could be a good wearer after a service. The quartz Constellation is probably 1970s (early 80s?). As of yet quartz watches are not particularly collectible. I don't know much about the Minerva, but it looks to be from the 50s.

Pretty sure this is a bumper automatic from the 50s. It also looks to be in the most original of all the watches in the collection. https://blog.watchdoctor.biz/2019/07/08/what-is-a-bumper-automatic/

Copy and paste works easily for me on Android and with the Chrome browser on a laptop. The only trick is to wait long enough for the photo to upload before completing the post.
