Being masters of patience, I believe we here are all familiar with the very painful yet exciting "incoming" period as we wait for our "precious" to get onto our wrists... This was a very special case for me; I had been waiting on 4 very special watches which were sent directly from the seller to my amazing watch maker and had been collecting with him for a while now for some TLC, and here they are finally, from box to wrist.... I gotta say, I am always amazed at the very much appreciated amount of care and attention my watch maker gives to packaging... and after some in-house service
I'm advancing the dibs stakes here...The middle two... I think you've done very well. Amazing feeling to get them all at once like that, freshly serviced. Now all you need is a few more wrists!
Thanks Alex.... you got it! In any case, that rose gold marker waffle dial 2576 naturally goes to you since when it first arrived, it went directly onto your tan ostrich straps
Hi Melhadary, nice to see an original 2576 Seamaster dial. The one below I sent back to the seller last week.... Reiner
Thanks Reiner The one you pictured here actually has a dial design more similar to the 2576 posted on the Omega Database. Still, these models came with many dial variations. Here's a clearer picture of mine:
Direct inspiration for the London Olympics homage piece (and the vintage original has better balance in the dial design): http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SEAMA...958288851?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item43be7727d3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
+1 on that one definitely, Mike! I guess another inspiration would be this 2518 listed recently on ebay (which I sadly missed because it was snatched immediately )
It was suddenly "un-listed" and on contacting the seller he confirmed it was already sold, probably off the seller's online site "FashionAceDesigns.com"
