Not mine but identical in every respect except for the rosewood steering wheel.

I still shed a tear. Sold it in 1976 for $1800.

Wot!!! No Robots 😁

Having been involved in the construction of a modern hand assembly facility, that photo struck me just how little the principals have changed in 50 years. High-end anything is something special and you get what you pay for.


When Porsche listened to Toyota and automated things, that's when the quality of their product took a rapid downward turn. Quantity at the expense of quality.
