Hi all, I recently purchased my first Enicar. A super divette in pretty good conditions . It is very difficult to take decent pictures of the lovely black dial... The case is very good with the triangle for correct adjustment of the caseback still visible. It is a 36mm watch but it wears bigger due to the quite massive case. I am very happy with this new one . Have a good day all and please share yours!. Nicolas
Thanks all, The super compressor case is indeed very nice and gives to the watch a real presence on the wrist. @ulackfocus it should be from the 60's but I don't really know the precise production year. If someone has a serial number / production year table I would be happy to know . I noticed that some have painted logo combined with a "Enicar" in a different font and also sometimes I noticed T above the marker at 6 while some have T swiss made T.... Does anyone have information on these dial variations? Lovely brand by the way, I would love to find a sherpa graph now Nicolas
That is a beautiful watch! I've just recently becoming enamored with Enicar, too, and I would probably jump on a Graph, Jjet, or good-looking Sherpa if a nice one came along, too. It's pretty hard to know what to expect from their dials, however, because there were so many variations. I would also be glad to know better the exact year from which my three Enicars were produced, but I've never seen any references that speak to this. I know that the early EPSA casebacks are stamped with the actual month and year, but beyond that, It seems to be guess work based on styles (dials and cases). Enjoy that baby, and post a pic if you find a Graph!
