I just got my two Seamasters back from service, a 166.032 caliber 750 & the rare 168.023 caliber 751. Here's some before and afters of the 166.032:

BEFORE:

As you can see in the before pictures, the brushed spots were in decent shape but needed work, there were the usual dings on the edges and lugs, and the facets were defined but not crisp. The dial also had a couple of rough spots. In the after photos you can really see just how clean everything looks now, almost factory fresh. I'm really liking my watchmaker right about now!👍

Next up I have to get some pics of the 168.023. I'll try to get them together as soon as possible.

That's the perfect bracelet for that watch - and I'm not a bracelet guy at all. Looks good Tommy!

Agreed, is that the Speedmaster 1479 bracelet?

Judging by the "before" pics, it looks like you took great care of it. Nice photos too, thanks for posting them. 👍

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I'm really happy with how it turned out.

As for the bracelet, I got it from a WIS in Norway I had previously dealt with. It's a ref. 1098 which he bought for his Speedy. As far as I know it wasn't exclusive to the Speedmaster, as this print ad scan shows it on my watch (my watch in foreground):
