Beautiful straps again! I think I’ll wait for an 18mm one though if you’re going to be making more ☺️
#3 for me, thank you very much! Now just have to decide which watch to wear with it! Thanks again for the fun and new strap.
And I'm looking forward to a number 2 Thank you so much Steve, I will be making a donation to a charity called freewheelers which is one that was close to my best friends heart who is sadly no longer with us.
Feeling blessed with #5 heading my way I’ll be making a donation to Guide Dogs for the Blind, as the charity was close to the hearts of my late grandmother and favourite uncle. Thanks Steve
Time to punch holes. Test driving one of the straps that I kept while I work away. This was my only 18. I should have made more 18s.
Straggler... last year I made straps for @JwRosenthal with an old women’s leather wallet. Prior to making these straps I only made them for my jeweller, who is a very large man. Turns out that my straps were too long. (Thanks for pointing that out JW!). I had made this one as an extra and forgot about it. Well @Bill Sohne is able to give it a home. This one, unlike the soft smooth baseball glove straps, will feel like cardboard until broken in. It’s got a nice classic look though.
Superb! Agree, but a clouded and crowded field. With a gold case (old fuddy-duddy watch!)your baseball mitts are huuuuge, it is the bee's knee's.
These are great. Will certainly make me look at old baseball gloves and similar items in a different light!
Many thanks, Steve. It turned out to be a perfect fit for one of my watches with 21mm lug spacing! Donation made to the Wilderness Society.
I am relieved to see that one of the straps has finally arrived. Great cause! Nice watch! Trying NATO with pig skin for the first time. Quicker to make than regular straps, but since it’s my first one I am spending a lot of time measuring, calculating, and trying to figure out how it will fit. I already see flaws in this one. It is not done yet.,,
