··Hears dead people, not watch rotors.Good evening, I have a Frederique Constant Classics Index Date Automatic, Ref. No. FC303V5B4, which no longer runs and I would like to give to someone who may be able to get to run. I bought it used, with all boxes and papers, and it ran well for about 6 months. It suddenly stopped running and it wouldn't wind manually. The date and time could be changed when the crown was pulled out, but it just wouldn't wind nor run. I sent it to Watch Repairs USA (probably not the best decision) and they wanted $400 to repair. Since I paid $500 for the watch, I declined to have them repair it and they retuned it to me. When I got the watch back, the watch was running, but the second hand had fallen off. The watch now can be wound manually, but the date cannot be advanced. Obviously something going on with the crown (stem). If anyone is interested in trying to get it to run, I'd be glad to let you have it.
Here's a link for the watch on Frederique Constant website. http://www.frederique-constant.com/watch-finder/classics/classics-index-fc-303v5b4/
