If there was a plan in place for scarcity is more about intent, and unless you are in the heads of the people making those decisions, I think it's tough to say if that really the case or not.

Intent? While shows like Perry Mason taught the public incorrectly that “circumstantial evidence” is a dirty word in court, it turns out in truth to be the opposite: circumstantial evidence is the bulk of any evidence at every trial, and is far more reliable than most direct evidence, especially eyewitness testimony, much less testimony of the defendant.

If one need be “in another’s head” to discuss and deduce intent, it wouldn’t more than just OF that would be devoid of content.

I think it’s patently obvious and uninteresting that current production can’t keep up with demand. From that observation, though, does not derive the conclusion that Swatch ever had the *intent* for production to meet demand.

I’ll be as interested as anyone to hear RJ’s interview with the defendant! 😁

Rubbish like this is why I don’t even click on hodonkey 90% of the time anymore. Just a back scratch for a Instagram wannabe watch influencer / writer (these guys aren’t journalists like they think they are)

and at 970 EFTs at 0.03 Ether ($49 US] they want to raise $50K US to give only $10K to charity…

Very interesting write up on the Moonswatch in the Swiss times, don't know how I would have felt about this:

Originally, a “Swatch in the Omega look” was to be produced, which was to be given to Omega customers as a temporary replacement while their watch was being serviced.

I was also rolling my eyes at this. When you consider how even the ISS and Hubble are not really that far away in low Earth orbit compared to the damn moon this is just laughable.

This image stood out to me. Are those not SMP hands, in a metallic yellow? I'm probably overthinking this and it's probably just the SMP hands that the facility makes as well but it had me thinking about a potential Swatch SMP collab.
