Thanks to the team, a good Christmas morning read!

Not read any negative comments about the sapphire on this one, like I have on the Apollo-Soyuz meteorite, only thing holding me back from the speedyorite.

Lovely read, thank you for the article! For me the unique texture of the dial really sets this watch as my favorite of the group. Merry Christmas and hope Mike's wife enjoyed the present!

Hope you don't mind if I add another dial macro shot in sunlight.

I don't mind having a Speedy with a sapphire to be honest (I do believe that this one and my Silver Snoopy Award are the only ones that have one in my collection), but I prefer the standard Moonwatch with Hesalite.

Article mentions "domed sapphire crystal" - this is the same sapphire on any other Speed Pro with sapphire, yes?

We don't Photoshop 😀

So your photographer does not:

Adjust the curve of the exposure, to maximise, the tonal range ?
Sharpen the image, to reduce the effect of the ‘anti-alias’ filter ?
Clone out dropped pixels, or dust ?
Colour balance the temperature of the light ?

Interesting technique…
