I've been doing research on the internet for a few days about the eterna I'm interested in. Unfortunately, I cant get an unequivocal answer "is thst watch is orginal or not?"

The watch is 38mm and apparently has movement cal 852.

Thank you in advance for your help.

So far, the most similar to this ether are the watches below.

All but the hands appear correct.

Given that it is a chrome-topped case (the vast majority of Eterna were full steel), with incorrect hands, and in poor condition, it's hard to see why anyone might want the watch.

Must agree, the example you're looking at is not the nicest. But this reference is now on my to do list, it's beautiful!

Run, don’t walk from that watch. I have a small collection of vintage US military watches and when I see pitting/flaking like this (which 90% have) as all but a few the cases were chromed (there were a few done in Sterling) I walk away. It’s like a cancer, it only gets worse. That said, I have a stellar example of a 1942 Elgin in chromed case that is flawless- it took going to a professional who specializes in these watches to get it.
