I have found this steel band and wanted to see if anyone can give me any information about it. (is it for a particular watch, authentic)
It's stamped no. 12 on the buckle and on the end tabs, 596-1. It's for 18mm lugs.

    Thank you.

    Yes its real.

    Not for a particular watch.

Omega watches were sold on straps and bracelets were sold as accessories by the selling dealer.

Thank you for the information. That makes sense since the omega database basocally always says strap.
Is there any way of knowing when this band was produced? Which omegas it would make since to put it with?

Stylistically probably late 1960s to mid late 1970s.

I'm more of a fan of leather straps and at least in the near future not looking at a c-case, more of a fan of little earlier sramasters and constellations. If I went to sell this bracelet, anyone have an idea of what its worth to someone?

I have a recollection of Melhardy looking for 586 end links for a Seamaster Compressor

This band is stamped 596 on the end tabs, is there any type of data base for omegas bands?

Start it at 99¢ on eBay and you'll find out.

If there is any value it will only be as a complete bracelet.

The end links are unusual and only suit that style of bracelet and would look odd if applied to another.

Worth is only tangible if somebody wants it and the only way to find out is take the advice offered previously.
