I'm at the local flea market and inside a sellers case is this big block of a watch. I ask him about it and he pulls out a 70's Bulova Driver's watch. He said that he has owned it since new but after the batteries died he quit wearing it. (I figured that was a lot of 70's dollars for maybe a years worth of wearing but legit or not I got it for a good price which was a bit of a risk as it wasn't working. A quick trip to the store for two batteries and it flashes on. Woohoo. LOL Anyway, just because I felt like starting a new thread, it is also missing a piece so I can also ask if someone might have the missing band piece. I thought about selling it as it's really not my thing but it's sort of growing on me and you never know when disco might make a come back.
Now THAT is the right watch for a 1970s Bond villain. Design is just crazy, but for a flea market score, right on! Buy yourself a white cat, a leisure suit and a monocle and you're good to go.
You should check with the boys in the Vintage Watch Forum and see if anyone can give you a line on an end link for the one side. Iffy, but you never know with those guys.
