Hi all. A friend sent me these pics from a flea market he attended today. Apparently, a seller was clearing up in the left-over from her late husbands jewellery store and some watch items were amongst them. He knows a tiny bit about watches and knew that the Omega sign usually means some sad weirdos on the internet could probably be interested Would anyone on here be interested? He'll have to get the rest of the watch items also, which was mostly assorted cogs and crowns and the like The seller asked what roughly amounts to $200, but my friend wouldn't want to buy them if he couldn't move them on. Cheers!
I guess every moon in our galaxy must be properly aligned with each other this week.. first a CK2915-1 found in almost new condition, and now a decent DON bezel for less than $200... I need to leave work and look at garage sales, flea markets this weekend!! https://omegaforums.net/threads/speedmaster-guidance.36244/#post-411411
Flea markets around me have 10 cellphone stalls and 3 carpet dealer s but zero chance of finding any old Watches lol
Ok guys - time to come clean... It's a joke A friend of mine (who's been into watches wayyyy longer than me!) had these lying around and suggested we tried out a little prank on here to see how everyone would react I haven't read any of the 6 (!) PMs I've received, but I thank you for the interest!
I was already wondering why someone with 900+ posts on OF would not immediately recognize a DON, even if he's not into Speedies.
