I was in Ohio this past weekend visiting some friends and while out and about came across this beauty.

    Model 132015 Caliber 610 S/N 21530339

Not sure of the year but what a nice looking watch.

Has an Omega leather band and SS buckle, might have been redone but might me NOS, no idea.

Just had to plunk down the $ for it.

    Any thoughts?

I'm a bit suspect of the hands and there are no minute marks on the dial...let's see what some others have to say.::popcorn::

The serial number puts it at 1964.

The dial has been refinished. The OMEGA is off center - it's biased to the left under the Ω symbol.

    Did you get it cheap?

Not so sure the dial is refinished, without seeing a perfectly straight on shot. The raised figures which are part of the dial and not applied on these dials tend to loose their crispness when refinished and these still look quire sharp. I would not necessarily expect a dress watch like this have a printed second track, the hands looks correct for this type of watch as well.

    D - I'm with X350 on this one. I think it's original also.

It does say "Swiss" at the bottom. Probably a US market watch.

In excellent condition (at least the outside).

Inside is so clean that it sparkles.

    Thanks for all the info.

    Yeah, that's quite the bargain!

That's another point for the "original" argument. If it's that clean inside, there was probably no reason for a redial.

Wonder what a realistic value might be? In the $300 to $500 range?

About right. I'd bet if listed in an open auction it would fetch between $325 and $450 depending on the dial being confirmed original and how bad people want it. If you get a 3 or 4 way bidding war you could do well. It's a nice starter vintage Omega.

FYI - The strap is a later replacement.

You did very well for $100.
