Well, in keeping with my move to rivet bracelets, I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a 7206. I finally found one, in decent condition and not crazy-priced. Better still, it’s a second quarter 1967, which is perfect for my fourth quarter 1967 1016. Yeah, it’s been polished, but I can have that remedied. I’m pretty pleased, although, after over 30 years, I’ve gotten used to the 62510H Jubilee bracelet that was on it when I bought it in 1987. So, I put that Jubilee bracelet on the 1979 1018. That bracelet is a D code, i.e. from 1979, so it’s perfect for it. Sometimes, things work out. It’s a pleasant change from when things are messed up (which seems to be almost all the time).
I’m always looking to match up like this, it’s awesome when it happens. My ‘78 OPD came on an aftermarket bracelet, so I bought a 80’s/90’s Jubilee (can’t remember the date code) and wish I had held out for a C&I rivet or B-D date code Jubilee. One day
Awesome, looks pretty tight too. If you want to DIY a brushed finish, use this: Bergeon 5444-B Satin Finish Bar, Medium http://www.ofrei.com/page250.html
