Evening all, I know there have been some comments on this particular amazing work of engineering....but....if offered in its known configuration at Omega Dealer retail what do we think we would be looking at price wise??? A: 0-5000 USD B: 5-10000 USD C: > 10000 USD
MSRP of the Ti PO on rubber is already $8,100, so there's no doubt that if they ever released it to the public, this Ti diver capable of going down to meme depths would easily run over $10k. Somewhere around $15-17k simply because it can out-dive the Rolex Deepsea
The Ultra Deep isn't a watch that is needed by anyone. It's a black cat. You know that guy? You have any black cat but he has a cat that's blacker. He's got the blackest of black cats and, should he ever meet someone with a blacker cat, he'll have to find another. So, if it's ever sold, it will be priced as the ultimate, unbeatable, black. It'll be well into five figures. It'll be pegged as close to Patel territory as they dare.
This is watch is just Omega trying to prove the point....that they can do it....but isn't it like that with most luxury watches anyway?
It's going to be around 12k. I'd really like to own one. I want a 1x1 copy of the one that went under. We will see.
I'm guessing around 12k as well.. No additional complications (like a chronograph) besides just being able to go reaaaally deep. Will have to cost more than the plops. Im more curious about whether they'll maintain that same depth rating for the commercial version... One article I read about the Ultra Deep said the case was 55mm wide and about 28mm thick. I cant imagine trying to wear that.
