I suspect I may have made myself persona non grata but I will pose the question anyway.
Moderators...I wondered out of interest if you found that members tended to contribute to multiple forums...vintage / modern / rolex etc, or do they tend to keep to one forum?
I tend just to look at the vintage forum.

I'm no moderator (but I could play one on TV :D).

I think you will find this forum has a nice 'brotherhood' feel to it, so there's lots of crossover between forums. It really matters not, however, since it's 'to each is own', but it seems many members here are by no means 'married' to any one Forum. However, I've grown quite fond of vintage watches, so I probably spend most of my time there, brand less important to me... FWIW, don't care for Rolex, love Omega, Longines, and Zenith... ::love::

I have posts on every forum here except Modern Omega and Want to Buy.

All points of view are welcome here, provided that you are honest about your intentions.

The more posts, the better your experience will be.

    Welcome!

Just to be sure, were you referring to crossover just within Ω Forums?

That's quite fascinating... love to know more. That would make a very interesting thread, and a nice compliment to the Space and Moon Watches that we discuss here... might even get into some controversies!!! ::popcorn::

Trust me you have to go a lot further to do that. Even if you are aggravating as long as you are respectful and don't get belligerent, it will not be held against you. Anyone gets too far off track we try to steer them back. They can hold their ground, as long they walk the line on discourse.
We are up to 3 people banned in 4 years. Not very many, and trust me they really had to work at it. :D

Have a 105.003 ( albeit without a DON bezel!!! ), just bought its Russian Omega 2998 equivalent ( considerably cheaper! ), have a 105.003 equivalent ( Poljot 3017, although I have to admit its more like a modern Omega Speedmaster equivalent ) and looking out for a Gagarin watch!

Maybe I'll change my tumbleweed aviator back to normal!....I hope it demonstrated some degree of contrition! ( I'm afraid I do hold some controversial views regarding DON bezels but will keep them to myself! )

First thing I do is press "latest" and see what is going on throughout, then I participate on whatever conversation appeals to me no matter what the forum is.

Todays purchase....Surmanskie 15J....good provenance, sure I overpaid but its a keeper.
Probably the 2998 equivalent...15J probably issued to Gagarin on graduation.
    17J first in space.
I'm sure many people on this forum know this, hopefully none will tell me its a fake!!...did my homework before so will be disappointed! Screen Shot 2015-03-30 at 21.32.54.png

By the way Would like to see some more of your Russian watches please.
