The PHOTOS of this watch can be yours, for as little as €600.
    Watch sold separately.
I've seen some bull-scheiss on eBay, but this takes the cake.

I would pay with a photo of money.

this classic-watch-collector individual is the same guy whose offerings dominate our "Wishful thinking" thread.

Some examples of his wares - the $62000 Minerva 72C and the $84000 Baume & Mercier 72C:

Wonder if he includes a formal assignment of the copyright of the photos in that price...

Since he has posted them in his eBay listing, let me go ahead and violate that "copyright" right now!

What's even nuttier is that there is actually a bid recorded for this. Unless of course, this is a shill.

Just to amplify on how absurd this is, it's not a copyright violation if the photos are used for review (as above) or private study.

In other words there is zero value in the photos he's already published, unless you want to try to commercially exploit them - but why would a magazine want to pay for the use of these photos?

    Nuts.

    low maintenance though........

a few drops of virtual oil every few years..... maybe slip Al a virtual payment for regulating it.......

you can loan it out or drop it without worry.

I think he's on to something..... I could get my solid gold Lux after all!

He says there are 88 photos in all. We're only able to steal about 50 euros' worth by right-clicking.

    Hi all,
What I find really strange is the amount of Brietling Co-Pilot and Co -Pilot Yachting's that he has that are all apparently from the French Air force yet I don't see any markings or doc's to confirm providence. Also check out his feedback as there is something very strange going on there to and I for one would not be happy buying anything from this seller.

Indeed. Other than his feedback, what was your first clue? ;)

I made a 1 euro offer for the Minerva. It was rejected.

Undeterred, I pressed on and doubled my offer to 2 Euros. Still rejected!

Last ditch attempt. I tripled it to 3 Euros. Rejection! Then eBay prevented me from making any more offers...

It isn't often I triple my initial offer but boy, that Minerva really got me all excited... :p

going out on a limb, you could offer him 5 euros.... really get his attention.

but for that much, I would expect him to throw in the freight.

its worth a shot, don'tcha think?
