For Silver Snoopy, the Aqua Terra blue strap with deployant clasp as a replacement?

Hi all:

I recently picked up a new Silver Snoopy Speedmaster from the OB. Based on my research on this forum and the web at large, I purchased the 3861 brushed stainless steel bracelet as well given that there were so many complaints about the stiffness and unwearability of the stock blue fabric (Codura) strap. I came across a post on another forum which suggested that the discontinued Aqua Terra blue strap with the deployment clasp was an excellent substitute. The strap reference number for the Aqua Terra strap is 032 CWZ 005345 and the deployment clasp reference number is 94521893. Has anyone here done this setup? If so, how difficult was it to obtain from the OB and how long did it take. Also, what is your opinion of this substitute strap configuration for the Silver Snoopy? Also, are there any other substitute straps with deployment clasps that you would recommend?

Thanks,

I put mine on the '57 flatlink. Looks and wears awesome. But a blue deployment strap sounds good too. Look for several threads on here discussing bracelets and straps for it.

As long as it 20mm you're ok, Omega keeps straps for a long time in stock after a model issue discontinued so it shouldn't take long to order.

You can also do the older Seamaster rubber strap. Works the same as the AT strap since it's 20mm non-integrated. Takes the same 18mm deployant clasp.
