Well, a caseback anyway.. http://m.ebay.com/itm/131517038605Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Come to think of it, one could put together a franken 2915 and pass off a real with a 2998 mid case, dial, lathed re issue bezel and hands. But to really pull it off they should buy my 2915 center second hand for $5000. Shipping included.
I guess if you had a 2915-1 with no caseback or a poor condition caseback, it might be worth the investment. What are the chances of someone having a 2915-1 without a caseback and how would you know? Edit: /sarcasm
And charge for gas to the post office...or if you walk some fee for shoe wear and maybe for food. Remember when pricing this you're not only going to the post office, you have to come back too.
And what about hands? http://www.ebay.fr/itm/RAREST-VINTA...STER-BROAD-ARROW-SET-HANDS-CRONO/201352519617Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
That will not work, as the 2915 caseback does not properly screw to the end into a 2998 mid case. The caseback is only interesting for somebody to upgrade his 2915-3 or -2 into a -1 or have an ugly casback and wants a better one.
