given that genuine Omega deployments are a lot of money, is there a recommended alternative that is secure, reliable, looks good, sits appropriately, but is cheaper - especially for UK/EU purchase? Seen the RHD clasp is well-recommended, but is there an EU alternative?

will be using it on mostly newer Omegas (seamaster 2009, speedmaster 2006).

    thanks.....

Another deployment tour! Folks in the military go on "deployments" WIS use deployant clasps on their watches. :)

Your other option is to get a pre owned original Omega deployant clasp, these are often seen for sale around here...I can only vouch for Omega originals and they look good and are very comfortable to wear....

Yeah...but I also think watchobsession goes with 'deployments' tho they aren't going anywhere

Is that Euro or London centric?

edited title. agree it was wrong ::shy:: (though as was kindly pointed out, others make the same (re) use of English in that way)

EDIT: Omega's site uses foldover clasp, so I've gone with that :)

Am based in the UK so London is fractionally better than EU - though buying from the US is fine, just can be hassle with tracked delivery costs, customs etc.

Watchbandcenter.com in Germany has several brands of double fold like the RHD clasps. The Eulux appear to be the exact same thing as RHD, but they're more expensive. I've bought 4 RHD in the past year and can say they're excellent, as is his customer service.

Panatime has good ones. Also hirsch makes good ones, you can find them on ebay for $30 or so.
