It has occurred to me that the only Omega watch I possess where I haven't a clue about the case number is the 60th anni Speedmaster. I believe this uses a very similar ~39mm case design to that previously used on the FOIS and CK2998 reissue, but with different casebacks and bezels. Does anyone know the case numbers for these, the 60th in particular. I don't mean the PIC codes but the 7 digit XXX.XXXX case number normally stamped inside the caseback. It would be nice to think it was of the order of 145.0XX but who knows?
Since the FIOS comes in 2 case materials, I'm assuming you are asking about the stainless steel version, so that is what is listed below. FIOS - 055SU1450049 CK2998 - 055CCZ005049 60th anniversary - 055STZ006268 Note that the 7 digits that you mention are only a partial case number... Cheers, Al
You are the Oracle as ever Al. Many thanks. Interesting that the FOIS looks of a similar form to the earlier system but the later 2 look nothing like it, though I presume the SU, CC and ST codes refer to the case/bezel material like they always have.
