    Hello All,

I have fallen in love with the crazy flightmaster and have some questions. I have found one for sale here:

    http://www.chrono24.com/omega/vintage-tropical-dial-flightmaster-excellent-condition--id6799918.htm

But it looks like a Mark1 which should be a 145.013, but the caseback is stamped 145.026. Does that mean it is some replacement, isnt the Mark 2 supposed to be 145.136?

It looks like the color is off the pushers, and maybe the left side ones replaced?

Any other comments and advice would be appreciated.

I agree with you, the caseback is not the right one.
    I don't know the reference 145.136.
I suppose you mean Mark II is this (mine) in the photo below, the caseback is stamped 145.013.
Yes the color is off the pushers, very common if you use them.
I don't know if the left pushers are replaced.

    Hey there,

There are three references in steel:

145.013 - the MK1 variant with domed crystal, and thinner case body

    145.026 - the MK2 variant

145.036 - the more water resistant MK2 variant.

The watch in your link looks like a 145.013 with a case back off a 146.026.

Can only advise you take your time looking for these (and any other watch), and do as much research as you can before handing over any cash.

    Really helpful info here: http://www.old-omegas.com/pilotline.html

    and here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/the-flightmaster-thread.36423/

    Good Luck!

Thanks Guys, I think I will skip this one, I found another one on the forum I like better! It is a MK 1 but doesnt have the 2 lume dots by the 12 hour mark, is that known?
