I have a Flightmaster 910 which I need some advice. The crystal will need to be replaced and the gasket has disintegrated. The gasket appears to have leaked/spread, jamming the inner bezel, which will not turn. Does anyone here have enough experience with this issue to advise what the chances are that the inner rotating bezel will be salvageable?

It really depends on the extent of the gasket goop that is on the bezel. Certainly trying to turn it in present state is not a good idea. Note that if needed, new bezels are available.

It's essential that the printing on the bezel doesn't get smeared by the gasket remains. You must with great care and caution try to clean the bezel with a solution liquid that can dissolve the smeared gasket, without ruining the printing.

    It can be done, definitely!

How much are new bezels if I have to replace? (Fortunately no one has forced the bezel to turn. The lower crown will not turn. I heard that the gear to turn bezel is near impossible to source.)

What solution will clean without smear/remove the print on the bezel? (Some of the gasket has oozed out the top beside crystal and is hard like dried tar.)

It's something like $170 currently I think. And the pinion for turning it is readily available from Omega.

Does the crystal gasket come with crystal for case reference 145.013 (part TN5147) and 145.036 (part TN5250) when ordering genuine Omega parts?

No - gaskets have to be ordered separately, unless you are ordering a service kit that includes a bunch of different parts.

Hi , I ordered the inner bezel for 145.013 but unable to fit, the stock number is 076TP0032 which I googled is meant more for the 145.026. Any idea the correct stock number for 145.013 anyone?

There's one on ebay right now for $50, though not in the best of shape. Did you try cousins?

Make sure you also have the plastic dial support ring (it's a round black plastic ring).

Archer, I just procured a new 076TT0002 to replace the existing one on my 145.013 case (Cal. 911 but supplied and installed originally in 1969 into the 910 case). The existing one works fine, but some of the paint was rubbed off prior to the most recent servicing. Do I need any other part(s) to have the bezel swapped by MTS? (Thanks in advance for your response.)
