Flat-link end-piece (6/516, etc.) and lug interface question:

Regarding the way end-pieces fit in their corresponding lug ends: I’m aware that solid end-links typically fit very snugly. But regarding stamped steel end-links, published date seems to indicate that the end-link is typically .3mm less in width than the corresponding lug width. For those who have had experience playing with, or have measured this, I was wondering if this is what you’ve found. Thanks.

I’m not familiar with that end-link, but I’m guessing it’s for an 18mm lug? But that would mean it would be tough to get it in there, no?

Yes, 18mm lug width, typically with a 1035 bracelet. There’s no gap, but I don’t have any problems installing it.

The only problem I’ve had fitting end links is with my Seiko 6117. Its lug width is usually described as 19mm, but 19mm hollow end links won’t quite fit. I’ve measured the lug width as 18.8mm.
