    Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago I bought a Seamaster 300 (165.024) case on ebay. When it arrived I discovered that the spring bars are not spring bars at all, but rather they are fixed bars, welded in place. IMG_20150511_100130.jpg IMG_20150511_100049.jpg 1431356677507846261470.jpg I know that the British MOD seamaster 300s had such bars, and this case came to me from South Yorkshire, so I'm wondering if this is indeed an MOD case. As you can see there are no markings on the caseback, which would suggest that it is not. Not really a big deal to me if it is or isn't, I'm just curious about what people think. Were fixed bars ever added to civilian cases?

I also once had a 165024 with fixed bars and no Mil. markings. To me it was just that; a 165.024 with fixed bars and no military connections.
