Can't say I agree with the Pilot FQ Speedmaster. Cool looking dial, but its a heck of a chunky boy.

MK40 is way too busy for me, it leans a little 'swatch' in design.

The reduced yellow dial isn't my jam at all 馃榾

Alaska and TinTin would both be lovely in my collection, but not ones I'd spend the money on.

SO the article claiming "worthy of any collection" is immediately debunked here 馃榾

Meh.

I like the TinTin enough that I did a mod of a 3594.50 with a standard Speedmaster handset and a TinTin dial. I got the 3594.40 for lunch money; I don鈥檛 think I would have spent considerably more for the real deal, but that鈥檚 just me. The others on this list leave me cold, especially that Schumacher thing.

As far as I鈥檓 concerned, some sort of Panda dial is a must. So - assuming that a real Mitsukoshi is virtually unobtainable - my list would include the Apollo XI 35th Anniversary edition (3569.61).

Big fan of the alaska project speedies and the TinTin!

I would have included the Dark Side line somewhere here. Either the automatics or the manuals!

Good call. My list would probably include the Apollo 8 edition of the DSOTM.

It鈥檚 good to stray from the Moonwatch from time to time as otherwise it gets monotonous but I wouldn鈥檛 personally give any of these box space to be fair. Everyone鈥檚 a critic eh!
