I have a fish tank, measuring 4 ft x 1 ft 2 inches x 1 ft 7 inches. Kindly advise how many Liters does this tank contain, since I have to give the fish some medication.

On the bottle of the medicine, the label says 5 ml for every 40 L.

    Thank-you.

It's late......that sounds like a 50 gallon tank. Tanks are never generally completely full. They are fish and can't tell if you are off a wee bit. I've been up all night so I would double check but I would add roughly 20 ml.

Thanks for the measurement and I appreciate. Now I am able to give the fish the medication.

I am sorry you had a sleepless night. Are you thinking about your next dream vintage-watch to buy? If so, please share with us, once you have begged it.

    Thank-you.

This is why the sensible French invented metric! Volume equals length x width x height. Easy!

Agree, on some of the systems the French and the American ones are not so complicated. Life is already difficult enough and to convert from one to another is a real pain in the neck.

    Thank-you.

I do not think many people keep fish, since looking after them is real difficult. At least a dog barks, while the fish are always quiet and when they stop swimming, that is when you have to diagnose what the issue is.

Maybe, we need a forum of 'keeping pets'.

    Thank-you.

    Here you go. http://www.firsttankguide.net/calculator.php

Your tank's volume is approximately 12,768.0 cubic inches or 55.3 U.S. gallons, which is approximately 215.0 liters.

Seamonster, don't let your pet fish see these pictures. They might run away.

I appreciate and all the information has been passed to my 'boss'. Those fish belong to her and she will attend to them, when they start to swim slower than usual.

    Thank-you.

Surely, they will not be allowed to see those delicious fish, meant for our stomach. Our pet fish will commit suicide, if they do.

    Thank-you.

Striped bass, about 40" worth of dinner. One fish gives Windy & me 6 dinners with leftovers.

My employer appreciates it when I remain awake. Truthfully it doesn't always happen. :D

It is good to know, you have such a caring employer. If it happens every night, we will not be talking, today.

    Thank-you.

No thanks. I would rather see the fish swim, slowly. Taking a sick kitty or doggy to the vet will cost an arm and a leg, here in Sydney.

    Thank-you.
