Dropped off today, watchmaker said I was lucky it hit the face as it absorbed most of the shock. He's going to give it a check up and replace the crystal. Still traumatic ... enough that I may have put something else on hold whilst I was there. 🤨

Gotta do what we gotta do to soothe the pain. When I dropped off my first 40’s chrono to my watchmaker I bought 3 more while I was waiting for it to return just because I felt a void….then those had to go to the watchmaker….and so it continues,

I kept forgetting to take the charging lead for mine when i went away, and the batteries are a pain to replace

i know i’ve seen the film with the hand bubble but can’t remember what it
is, did he have the hand of a famous movie star sewn on and had to keep hermetically sealed, good movie
I think it's Zoolander. He was a hand model.
