    Hi all

I brought my first vintage each today first of all want to say thanks to a certain forum member for the advice last few weeks it was really appreciated. Now I have he watch have a few questions.

What sort of strap should this watch have what would people get for it?

I was told it was serviced about 4 years ago I assume it could use another one any reconditions on someone in uk around London Essex or south east area? What is it likely to cost?

Finally how much often should it we wound and how much?

    All advice welcome

    Rich

The movement is the one part of that watch you should never have to worry about, its just about bombproof, so use it to your heart's content, its cheap to service, extremely reliable, and movement parts are cheap as chips.

When the timing goes off, a good watchmaker should be able to easily get it within around 10s/day, possibly even tighter, if it goes too far outside of that, or if it stops, get it fixed IMO.

Wind it until it stops, then repeat as often as you feel like it :)
