    Hello All,

Thanks for providing you input on my latest purchase in the vintage section. I have just purchased (from what looks to be) a genuine omega geneve from '72. I looked up on the vintage database and it appears to have matching case numbers and appointments. I won the ebay auction for 320$.

Thanks in advance for your opinions and feedback!

I'd REALLY like to get a speedmaster professional, a few folks talked me out of getting a piggy backed reduced model. Not sure how long it'll take but i think this'll satisfy my need to know what time it is now.

Keep an eye on the sales and private sales sections. Good ones come up for reasonable prices. WatchRecon.com is also invaluable.

    Congrats, and welcome!

I first thought I could resist the 'Speedie' urge, but I think I will eventually succumb... already have the Moonwatch Only book (and a 'signed' one on the way), so I guess it will just be a matter of Time! :p

Depends on which service is used by the seller, and where you are. Here in the US, I have had several express post items arrive in about week's time, and just got an economy shipping package today that took well over a month to arrive.

Actually he wanted 390 but i bargained him down to 320 shipped! I'm pretty excited. It took me about 3 weeks of sifting through ebay listings to found what "seems" like a half-descent watch with a good movement.
