After much deliberation (and considered study of this forum) I am now able to celebrate the 40th anniversary of my first Omega (1977 Seamaster caliber 1020, bought for me by my wife about 10 years ago) by introducing it to its new sibling (2017 Speedmaster Pro). I'm loving the quality of the new Speedmaster (& the presentation box is extraordinary), I can see why it has a cult following. Thanks all for the great advice, information and anecdotes.
Looks great! Following a number of Seamasters and digital Speedmasters I obtained my first classic manual wind one a few months ago. One of the best things Ive ever bought.
