This was some what unexpected, got a lead on a BNIB Batman from a local AD....how can you say no to a GMT!

Didn’t purchase it this year, but it will be my first arrival in 2018... I recently made my first Massdrop purchase with a simple Seiko “Sea Urchin”... Not so spectacular but I’ve heard from @Jwit that it “saves lives”, and as I work for a global automotive safety supplier with a mantra of “saving more lives” I figured it would be a great way to spend $148...

I find it interesting how popular these Seiko divers are on watch forums and yet how impossible they are to find at any retailer displaying Seikos. I recently flew through NRT and thought they’d definitely have them but I didn’t find any automatic divers!

 

Not sure if we are supposed to congratulate or share ours or both! Don't want to hijack your thread!

Got this coming tomorrow...always loved but couldn't justify the price new. Used these things are a steal IMHO. Model 16622 - Wrist shots ASAP!!!

 

Congrats to both, I am starting to appreciate these watches more and more.

 

My first 2018 just arrived. Beyond happy with this....honestly can't believe the amount of watch for the price I paid. A couple shots...

Just left my watch guy and +4 -2. Might need some adjusting but no service. Condition looks like new.

 

Yeah I would say you saved some coin, if you are happy that's what counts, it looks good on your wrist.

And sweet Batman @ATWG! The Rolex boutique near me actually had one in stock a month or so back and I got to try one on. It really is a striking watch in the metal.

 

That GMT may be my favorite modern Rolex at the moment. Looks great

 

Had to come back and look at your watch, looking at all rollys today plus this forum works way better than the other Rolex forum.

 

Haven't sized it yet, still sitting in the box....I'm more of a vintage guy.
