Greetings to all! This is my first post here and I hope I can add to my knowledge of all things Omega and whether by accident or by design give something back.

So I will start with a photo - of a Seamaster. Some of you may also browse other vintage watch forums - and may have seen some of these photos before. Apologies for the 'deja vu'.

Here it is. A late '60s Chrono Certified Seamaster with Cal. 564.

Nice watch. I could not help but noticing the MG logo. Are you British?

I just like classic cars! I have a 1978 MGB and a 1968 Tiumph TR5 PI. Whereas MGB prices are static TR5 prices are on the up.

dsio, thanks. Yes chrono certified Seamasters are less common of course. Most certified movements went into Constellations I believe...

That's a classic '50s Seamaster. Is that a bumper auto? I've always liked those beefy lugs.

Manual wind? That's definitely new to me too. I have three of these Seamasters one of which is Chrono Certified. I will post pics soon.

Gatorcpa thanks. Of course we've exchanged posts elsewhere so I'm glad we're doing so again. In the small world of chrono certified Omega Seamasters your all -gold one is pretty scarce...

Gold-capped, not solid. Good to know that the picture fooled you. :)
