Hi all Just wanna say thx for the membership. My name is Peter and Im born in '69. Lives in Denmark. I have had an old Omega Chronostop 145.008 for about 10 years which I have enjoyed in rotation with other watches. I recently started to get interested in the world of Speedy and just took delivery of my first vintage speedy. YES, I did the rookie mistake of buying the watch first, then ask questions afterwards But the watch came up for sale at a trusted dealer where I live and I went for it. It's a 145.022-69 ST 30mill . Been in the same family from new and after many years in the drawer, since it stopped working, it was pulled out in 2004 and serviced and once more serviced by Omega in 2014 where many parts were replaced. Luckily all old parts are included . I love the watch and think it looks wonderful with its stepdial. I think I will have the old insert put back on. Looking forward to anticipate in this forum even though Im a novice in vintage Omega's Cheers
Welcome to OF. Nice group of watches. Have the old parts put back on the Speedie and you should be set!
Welcome! Great watches you have. I'm an infrequent poster, but frequent learner. Guys and gals here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
