Well hello all! This is my first thread, & I'm so glad to have found this forum. I know very little about watches but if any of you would have any info you could please share with me about the watch in my profile photo, I would greatly appreciate it. I believe it to be a deville lunette from the early 70s, & I think it's genuine, but I'm not sure. I bought this watch from a local thrift shop for $9.99. Funny thing is, I remember seeing this exact watch in an ad when I was a kid & I'd never seen a dial like that before. I thought it had class, was so chic and I fell in love with it. Isn't it something to come across it like that all these years later, & at such a deal? I do hope it's genuine. Again, any info is appreciated, thank you.
I'm going to take it to be serviced, is there anything I should know before going? It runs great. I know this is gold filled & not worth a whole lot of money, but I'd like to take good care of it.
