    Dear All,

I’ve been reading from the shadows for some time and have learned a great deal from this group. This is a fascinating, if not a daunting hobby, and I’m pleased to be part of this forum. I’m a vintage Omega neophyte and what I appreciate most about this forum are the expert’s forthright opinions and assistance. With that in mind, behold my newly acquired 30T2: your unrestrained comments on authenticity would be mighty useful. Thank you all very much.

I’m relatively new, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Naturally I defer to our more experienced colleagues. What I see, however, is that some of the hour markers are slightly misaligned. Am I seeing things? And the Swiss Made printing appears to be too bold. So, I’m going to guess( and that’s all it is) that it’s a refinished dial. I hope I’m wrong!

I think it's a redial but the plus is that case looks pretty cool (you should open up the back and check it for ref/serial #s). Also I think the lugs are called duck leg lugs- a variation of the dog leg lugs on some of the connies you see. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Hi, I believe the lugs are called "Spider Lugs". The dial indeed seems refinished, as the logo doesn't utilize the correct font, and seems slightly misalligned to the left, and a bit too close to the applied Omega symbol. I think the reference number is 2605, If I'm not mistaken. It's a very nice watch if you don't mind the refinishing of the dial.

With everything that’s been said, don’t concern yourself. All that matters is that YOU like it!!!
