After thinking about it for a few months, I decided that the Speedmaster Hesalite was the watch for me. So, I went to my local Omega Boutique, negotiated 5% off, traded in a watch I no longer wanted, and went home with a beautiful new Speedy. Most photos do it little justice. It looks much better in person. Different lighting conditions actually change the look of the dial. I expect to enjoy it for many years. Overall, it was a pleasant buying experience. To nobody's surprise, I also have an itch for a Seamaster. Maybe next year.

Very nice. That and a Seamaster diver—or an Oyster Perpetual 36 or 41—with a bit of color, and you’ve got a phenomenal 2-watch collection.
