    Hi all,

After a long wait, I have finally received my first speedmaster which happens to be Snoopy!

I tested out the chronograph function and noticed something unexpected with the hour counter in that it does not move exactly proportionally with the minute counter. Is this normal or is that how the hour counter works? By the way, this is also my first chronograph so apologies if this is a silly question. I have attached a picture to make myself clearer. This is when the chronograph was at 52 minutes although the hour counter was pretty much in that position at 45minutes.

I could very well be wrong, but I think that's how it's supposed to work. The minute subdial will tick over each time the large Chrono second hand gets back to 60 sec. The hour subdial will slowly slide around proportionate to how much of each hour has gone by. In your posted pic, beautiful watch by the way, you are at exactly 22 minutes on the minute subdial and 52/60 of the way to one hour on the hour subdial. Hope that makes sense to you.

Watch those cartoons from meganfox 17 for a few minutes and your eyes should clear up just fine.

Congrats on the new watch. I don't think I've used my Moonwatch chronograph longer than 30 minutes, so I never paid attention to the 6 o'clock sub-dial. I actually tend to use the chronograph seconds hand to point to the date (@ 23 minutes after the hour is the 23rd) and not use the chronograph much at all. Silly me, but I just like the looks.

I'm just the same... never use the chrono... but came to a different solution: I stopped buying them ;)

second, my old 3570 used to do the same thing. I don't know if that makes right or wrong, but I got used to it
