First Omega: Moonwatch 3861

Just bought my first Omega earlier this week. I have had many watches (four Rolex and six Panerai) so I thought it was time to add an Omega. Although I would've loved the Silver Snoopy or the Ed White 321, I ended up with the accessible Speedmaster Professional hesalite 3861. If any of you know of a Snoopy or Ed White for MSRP in the US, please let me know!

I'd like to buy the flat link bracelet from the Apollo 11 50th model. Do any of you know if that bracelet will fit my watch and if that bracelet is available to be ordered from the boutiques?

No offense to your wall clock and your bluesy... that Speedmaster is *chef's kiss! And no to the 321/Snoopy question... though you will get some chuckles here.

Very nice collection, and congrats on the 3861. There are plenty of Snoopy's and 321 Ed White's available at MSRP....but they exist only in people's dreams.

The Apollo 11 50th won’t work (my local boutique tried) but they believe the bracelet from the Speedmaster ‘57 will work. They’ve ordered one so I’ll find out.

You’re gonna love it— basically the same as the 321… 20mm to 15mm taper, 2.3mm 2-position micro adjustment (I know, could be better..) flat links. I am picking up my 57 next week!

I’m hopeful. I haven’t been able to really love the stock bracelet. I’ve been wearing the one from my Rising Sun regularly. I’m hopeful that the flatlink from the ‘57 fits and feels a bit more robust than the one that comes on the 3861.

Ever since I began to wear my watches above my ulnar, bracelets fit amazing (looks like it may be on top of yours in that picture). Have you given that a go? I resisted doing it for 2 years because I thought it looked silly, but finally gave it an honest shot for a few days and absolutely fell in love with it.

I have my Speedy on the bracelet you have pictured, and can’t bring myself to go back to a strap now - the bracelet is so much more comfortable!

My OB told me the A11 flat link will fit my Snoopy 50 so I’m guessing it would also fit the regular 3861. It just needs different spring bars I think.

I actually would love to put an Apollo 11 or Heritage 57 flat link bracelet onto my caliber 3861.
I'll update on the 57 once I've tried.
