Good enough that you saved yourself from an assigned avatar. Seriously, I was literally about to give you this:

    White-Dot.jpg

That's a hell of an entrance into vintage Omega if that's your first. You've bought yourself a week's stay of avacution. :p

    First Omega. First vintage.

    I'll adopt it - for a week.

Well done then! You rank in the upper percentile for freshmen, by far.

Looks good! Actually, really good ….. and I didn't think it would, which is why I chose it.

I do like the font of seamaster on these, did you buy from someone on here on the forum? The case looks sharp, and it has a great caseback

Looking at your avatar.........I predict Seamaster Pro ........... vintage 1964 or 1965? 105.012 or 145.002 would be a perfect choice.....

edit: I must be pretty sleepy when I typed this. It should be Seamaster 300 165.024 or 166.024

Seamaster Pro mid ´60s :D Definately, I used to scubadive when I was younger and I spend most of my summer by the ocean ie. Baltic Sea. Selling that bike would make a nice budget...no way:whipped:

I made mistake in my first post ::facepalm1:: . It should be Seamaster 300 (before Pro) with ref 165.024 or 166.024 (year 1964 and above)

I had a GPz 1100. It was the one with the red tank, an '81 I think. I kept it for a few years but sold it before it killed me.

Privateday: Yes, either Seamaster 300 or Speedmaster Pro, I´n not a too specialized with these, sorry. There´s one on ebay....300 from ´64...

Blackwatch: GPz1100 was the strting point for ELR. Great vintage bikes both, ELR being more rare and sought after.

Never really been sorry about purchasing a watch...but there have been oh so many times that I was sorry I didn't...and that's all I have to say about that. (In other words Whitedot...you did very well!!! )

    Thank you, thank you. :)

Plot foiled. It is beginning to grow on me.

    From Norman.

Let me regale you with my tale of unexpected triumph. 'Twas a day like any other. Watchrecon popped up, and there on the first page was a beauty in miniature amongst 49 plebs. An extraordinary turn of events, I must say. I had seen Seamasters come and go, bought and sold, without so much as batting an eyelid. But, this chap* was immediately and exceptionally handsome to my eye - rose gold indices; sharp, angular lugs; slim, elegant hands; light, textured dial; hippocampus caseback, and no lume or date. Rose. Gold. Love at first sight. Serendipity at its best. I had to have him.

Without further ado or rational thought process, I contacted Norman, and the rest is history.

*It has to be a chap. I am in fact female, so "she" doesn't work.
