Has been awhile since I posted here, so hello! I appreciate the knowledge shared, it was invaluable in my search. Have always wanted a GMT Master, and was all set on a BLNR. By chance, I ran into a gentlemen with a 1675, and was struck by the thinner case, lugs and the way the light hit the matte dial through the acrylic crystal. It was obviously old, but well taken care off and had tons of character. So the search was on. So looking for 1675's led to me to this 16750. I'll continue the hunt for a 1675, but I'm super happy now Only two issues are a seconds hand which has aged more than the other hands and a 93150 bracelet with a mismatched 78360 clasp. I'm fine with it and will wear the watch as-is!
A clean and well maintained example of this fine model. I'm a big fan of matte/linen/textured dials. Thanks for sharing
Well done, congrats! I recently picked up a BLNR which has been sitting in its box, unworn. Instead, I’ve been wearing my 16750 all week.
Bam! Perfect! I prefer this 16750 matte dial to the 1675 but I hope you eventually find what you’re looking for. Until then, enjoy.
Hello all, I appreciate the kind words! I'm really enjoying this piece, it's very comfortable, it's getting all the wrist time so far this week.
I know it's still the honeymoon phase, it just seems hard to ever let this one go! Although I hope one day I find a nice 1675 with a MKIII dial!
Congratulations! The piece appears to be in very good condition overall and looks great on your wrist. Enjoy!
