路I sort of get faux-aged lume: naive friends might be fooled into thinking you're a serious old-school scuba diver. That faux-aged strap is completely inexplicable to me, however. Are folks supposed to think you used it on a mission?

I doubt many people will be sporting that strap. Agree it is an odd choice; different for sure but not sure why they felt they needed to add it to the kit. I guess since they include extra straps for the standard issue Speedmaster they needed to add something different here. Perhaps it will look better in the flesh.
Not at all clear if that bracelet will fit existing Speedmasters. I would guess it will not, it would not be in Omega's corporate interest to make them completely compatible.

Not clear at all if the cases are the same. Someone pointed out that there appears to be a small 'ledge' on the 50th Anniversary case between the lugs which stabilizes the end links of the new bracelet, hence no need for the normal small wing tabs. Omega already extensively modified the case back with a NIIAD lock system, not much of an assumption they changed other parts of the case to make the new bracelet exclusive for this case and maybe future Speedmaster cases. Until someone gets their mitts on a new bracelet and tries it out we can't assume anything. Nor can we assume Omega will provide this new bracelet freely to anyone who wants one.

Another post confirmed it will only be aval as a spare if you have bought the 50th. Correct decision imo
