Thanks for the wealth of information on the forums trying to increase my knowledge.

So my problem which I hope someone might be able to help with is I'm looking for a 30th birthday present for my brother, he likes his watches and I thought it might be a good idea to get him something vintage(ish) from his birth year (1985). And here lies the problem, I'm srruggling to find anything. I'm by no means a watch aficionado so not even sure I'm looking in right places (eBay, poshtime.com, parkersjewellers). Can anyone help in my search, the closest thing I can find is in the link below (1984), that's the style I know he likes;

Packers jewellers over priced poorly refurbished time pieces . This might help you unsure of your budget but this is a good starting point .
