Hi all, I finally decided to purchase my first Omega and just joined the forum! I couldn't resist the new AT..something about the dial...not to mention the great 8900 movement... All around great watch and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I also ordered the steel bracelet and will post pics on that bracelet too as soon as it comes in to the AD.

I really like the way you you set up your first few shots, that's a great looking timepiece. Rethinking my budget :)

What a beauty. I really like the new-style rubber strap that Omega is offering with the new Aqua Terra line. Did you check out the 38 mm version? If so, what did you think?

I did try the 38, but found it slightly too small for my wrist. It's slightly bigger than my Submariner and GMT II, but the 41mm AT feels about right...you get the sports watch feel but can still dress it up. The 38 felt dressier....but I didn't try the 38 on the strap, so that might have made a difference....

It's really comfortable on my wrist, btw. The strap is ridged on the inside which makes it more comfortable and keeps it positioned on my wrist...a good feature since I like to wear my watches slightly loose. The clasp is also well designed although the overlap tends to add a bit of bulk underneath....adding a few shots for reference, including a nice shot of the display back

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the smaller size. And those are pictures of the underside of the watch and strap are just incredible. I find it interesting that the words "Stainless Steel" are stamped on the lug. Never seen that from Omega before.

Are the metal pieces in between the lugs at the sides of the case removable? I was never able to tell, and it looks like they would make putting on a different strap much harder than usual.

I was worried about that as well, but the metal piece is actually part of the strap...not on the case at all. Quite brilliant and gives it a unique, completely integrated look but I can still switch out for other straps, including the steel bracelet that I have on order through the AD.

WOW thats a beautiful piece. Congratulations on your purchase. There are so many gorgeous watches Omega puts out, it really gives everyone an opportunity to show off their personality and preferences. If I like many different Omega designs, does that mean I have split personality????? :) Enjoy it my friend!

Yeah looking at your watch again I didn't know the strap came with a clasp, please post pics again when the bracelet comes in, I really dig your camera fidelity.

Nice. I also recently started with my first Speedy Pro LE. This AT is also on my must get list, very versatile for daily wear.
