I always wanted to add the Soviet version of the Timely Calendar to my collection and I finally tracked a set down from the 70's from behind the Iron Curtain. The seller told me he would throw in a free Mir space station era Speedmaster strap with the calendars as well. How could I pass that deal up?

After three months the calendars arrived.

The Original Russian Mir space station strap can be seen here....

Some misspelling on the calendar though.Other than that strap looks fantastic). I am wondering how they even allowed russian cosmonauts to have watches that wasn't made in soviet union)LoL

I just finished reading the book Dragonfly, an account of the accident aboard Mir. Any honor bestowed upon Cosmonaut Lazutkin is well deserved after battling the fire on Mir and saving the station.

Actually, I have just found that Orbita was in Bulgaria. Youth Travel Bureau Bulgaria sounds pretty exciting!
