I would normally have said "I'm not a big fan of white dials", but I now have to say that I never used to be....

Well done, that's a super acquisition.

I love these and it would be great to have a white dialled Speedmaster Professional in the Omega line-up today...

Interesting to see is that under a UV lamp the hands turn blue in stead of green.
Not sure who else has an albino on the forum. Would be interesting to me to hear if this is also the case with those watches.

So under normal light, they are green. Held under UV light the hands seem blue while under the light. Taking away the light, the are green again.

I picked this up many years ago in Australia.
The seller was sure it was a ‘prototype’ colour combination.
Whilst I’m pretty sure it isn’t - nonetheless, I really like it.
In fact, I used it as my avatar.

I think that first one with sapphire front and back was in 1992. The jubilee 27.
