One of the first watches I really lusted after (worn by Timothy Dalton in "Night Diver" spec in The Living Daylights), having finally got hold of a good one last year, I realise it's not something that I actually love. As per my 2016 watch ownership policy, that means it's got to go. Tag Heuer 1000 Black Dial/Black Bezel, in stainless steel, this variant produced between 1989, and 1992/3 when Tag fased it out. Quartz Movement provided by ETA, with date function. Originally waterproof to 200m (I wouldn't get this wet without having it resealed and tested!!!), with screw down crown, and bi-directional bezel. 38mm "Full Size". Comes with original bracelet that includes the diving extension (solid piece), and end caps, the green ZULU strap pictured, plus period correct TAG Heuer case and outer boxes (not original to this watch). This is a very good condition slice of late 1980's dive watch nostalgia. Not messed with, not modded, not battered. Ready to go. Couple of good articles for information: http://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-1000/ https://heuerville.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/tag-heuer-1000-980-013n/ Price reduced to £450 including insured, recorded delivery in the UK.
Have you tried our sister site that takes the same log in as this site. http://forums.calibre11.com/ You see a few boys from here every now and then...
I have... I've had a few enquiries both here, and there, that then haven't panned out. And a ton of eBay time wasters. I think it might just need someone suffering from 1980's nostalgia, and a desire to be Timothy Dalton, to stumble across it... ;-)
A couple of public answers to some private questions: 1 - I will ship internationally, but I will not cover the cost for this... that's down to the buyer. 2 - I will not take payment by Wire Transfer. PayPal only please, with the buyer to pay fees. On a side note: If you have zero post counts here, and no way of showing me that you have a good buyer record somewhere, I'm going to think twice before shipping this watch internationally... even more so if you're asking to pay by wire.
